KAMIC Group AB from Sweden has purchased the entire share capital of fast-growing Finelcomp Oy. The sellers are Juuri Partners Oy and a number of private individuals and senior executives in the company.
Newly Swedish-owned Finelcomp Oy is the leading manufacturer of electrical enclosures in Finland. In addition to switchboard mechanics, the company provides contract manufacturing of sheet metal parts to its clients. Established in 1988 and based in Outokumpu, Finelcomp currently employs over 100 people. The 2022 revenue of the fast-growing company will be approximately 22 million Euros, amounting to a year-on-year growth of ca. 30%.
Through the transaction Finelcomp becomes a part of a multi-industrial corporate group. KAMIC Group is a privately held group that buys, owns, and develops industrial technology companies in chosen market niches. It consists of around 40 companies focused on trade and manufacturing and employs roughly 1500 people in 14 countries across Europe, Asia, and North America. Going forward, Finelcomp will be a part of KAMIC Group’s Installation business area as an independent company.
– It was paramount to find a new owner for Finelcomp that can continue and further boost the success story of the company. It has been great to be part of the growth and development of the company, and it’s easy to say that the collaboration with the management has been prolific, says Markus Einiö, a partner at Juuri Partners.
– The approach of Juuri Partners is based on active development and value creation, which can certainly be deemed successful here. In my opinion, our best achievement is building a sales-oriented organizational culture in a company previously focused on R&D and production. Successful and systematic international sales activities were a true catalyst for growth. Investments in production and a new product line of solar panel mounting systems are now bearing fruit as well.
KAMIC Group warmly welcomes Finelcomp to its family of businesses:
– Loads of good work has been done at Finelcomp. The market-leading position is well-earned and has been achieved through persistent work with clients and consistent product development of good quality. We consider the company a strong complement to our offering within electrical distribution and warmly welcome the company and its employees to the KAMIC family, says the CEO of KAMIC Group, Fredrik Celsing.
– In KAMIC Group, we’ll have a stable and committed owner for long term that is able to offer both a valuable network and tools and competence for business development. An environment like this feels just right for Finelcomp, comments the CEO of Finelcomp, Sami Heikkinen.
