Juuri Partners has made an investment in Jobilla, a technology company specialising in digital headhunting. Having already gained a strong international foothold, the growth company is revolutionising recruitment from the point of view of both companies and job candidates.
Juuri Partners has made a significant investment in Jobilla, a technology company specialising in digital headhunting, to support the company’s strong growth and internationalisation. The other leading investor in the €8.25 million funding round is Trind VC. Of the funding, 7 million consists of equity investments and the remaining 1.25 million consists of loans from Business Finland.
Jobilla’s mission is to build the most efficient recruitment process possible with the highest level of automation. At the same time, it shapes the labour market by eliminating arbitrariness, bias and mismatch in recruitment and by matching the best candidates with the most suitable companies. The company’s customers include Audi and ReMAX in Finland and Pfizer in the United States.
The company is reinventing the recruitment market and has strong growth prospects. Despite the exceptional situation, the company doubled its sales during the first year of the pandemic. Its short-term goal is to grow its business especially in the German-speaking markets and the rest of Europe. The company is also aiming to expand in the US market.
“We believe that Jobilla will reshape the recruitment market permanently. The company offers comprehensive digital headhunting services from finding the right employee candidates to finalising the recruitment. At the same time, even passive job-seekers can keep track of job opportunities and easily apply for interesting jobs with just a few clicks, regardless of how busy they are in their daily lives. I believe that this will result in an increasing number of relevant recruitment discussions,” says Eetu Blomqvist, CTO of Juuri Partners.
“Jobilla’s special strength lies in the identification of candidates – exactly the task often carried out by high-priced recruitment consultants. The solution delivers amazing results, whether it’s a question of highly sought-after professionals such as coders or production work requiring specific expertise in a small city.”
“We are growing at a really fast pace in all markets where our solution is available. With the support of our investors, we plan to increase our market share in Germany and the United States. In addition, we are opening new markets around the world with the help of local partners,” says Henri Nordström, CEO of Jobilla.
Accurate recruitment without bias
Jobilla inverts the traditional job-seeking process while significantly streamlining the process from the candidate’s point of view. Job advertisements are directly targeted at the most suitable candidates. Digital advertising networks also reach passive jobseekers, who may not be actively looking for a new job but are open to new opportunities.
The suitability of candidates for the vacancy is defined using quick-to-complete, mobile-optimised questionnaires, based on which applicants are evaluated and filtered in minutes, making use of artificial intelligence. This makes it significantly easier to identify new career paths and apply for positions from the employee’s point of view as well.
The solution also eliminates bias in recruitment. The best candidates are selected with the help of artificial intelligence according to the principles of anonymous recruitment, based solely on competence and suitability for the position.
