Juuri Fund I Ky's management company Juuri Partners Oy's Annual General Meeting held on 16.2.2017 has appointed Pertti Korhonen as a member of the Board of Directors. Jukka Hienonen will continue as Chairman of the Board, and Jouni Heinonen, Vesa Silaskivi and Samuli Sipilä will continue as members of Juuri Partners Oy’s Board of Directors. Pertti Karjalainen, who has been member of the Board since Juuri Fund I was established, has announced that he will not be available for Board work due to personal time constraints.
Pertti Korhonen has worked as CEO of Outotec Oyj and Electrobit Group Oyj, and as CTO and member of the Executive Board in Nokia Oyj. Currently, he functions as Chairman of the Board in DNA Oyj. Pertti has extensive and diverse experience in managing strongly expanding business operations, technology industry, digitalisation, as well as corporate responsibility issues in strategic management. Pertti Korhonen’s background and expertise will bring excellent perspective to the work of the Juuri Partners’ Board of Directors and Juuri Fund I’s evaluation of potential portfolio companies and development of the current portfolio companies.
